Description
I made my first tile when I was developing a pattern and testing the print for one of the sculptures I was making in the first half of 2025. Which was a response to the overwhelming sense of doom that I felt seeing so many people in South London wear camouflage as daywear. The fear of war arriving here as well. What I love about the print and specifically three gradients that are involved in the camouflage pattern is that it gives me such a good opportunity to reveal the possible depth of cobalt blue. I love using my tiles as coasters, supports for coffee pot or food displays.
There is variation in the print due to how lithorapghic technique works.
